A gathering of many of the brightest minds in the worlds of education and tech, the International Society for Technology in Education 2017 Conference and Expo (ISTE) kicks off on June 28, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas. Whether you are attending the conference or not, Flipboard offers an easy way to track what’s happening on the showroom floor as well as in online conversations.
Here’s how:
1. Go to “Make a New Magazine…” in your tile area.
2. Select “For reading specific sources.”
3. Give your magazine a name like “ISTE 2017” and add the following sources:
- the @isteconnects official Twitter account
- the conference’s hashtag stream, #iste17
- the Twitter handles of any peers who are attending
- ISTE’s YouTube channel
For those interested in the themes being discussed at the conference, you could also add topics like eLearning, edtech, flipped classroom, and K-12 to the magazine
Now you have an automatically updating collection of the top conversations and themes happening at ISTE. Save anything by hitting the + button and flipping into your own magazine.
