Kicking Off FlipMarketer, a Place for Marketers and Communicators on Flipboard

Welcome to Flipboard for Marketers, aka FlipMarketer, a new program to help brands, communicators and marketers use Flipboard as a creative, versatile way to connect with clients, consumers, peers and others. We hope FlipMarketer becomes your ultimate resource for best practices, announcements, inspirational stories and rallying your stakeholders on Flipboard.
We’ve noticed many marketers and communicators are already on Flipboard, making magazines about content marketing, trends in SEO, the evolution in public relations and the latest in branding. There are PR agencies creating Flipboard Magazines to share media coverage with a client, and businesses that have a magazine as their brochure or portfolio. There are also many brands using Flipboard in their content marketing initiatives: Intel has a great magazine about innovation; Levi’s has magazines about the past, present and future of its iconic brand and another about its collection for women; and Whole Foods curates a magazine full of healthy recipes.
All these magazines (and many more) are now easier to find on Flipboard: just go to flipboard.com/@flipmarketer, where we’ve collected magazines that are good examples of how marketers, communicators and brands are using Flipboard. Follow this profile to never miss worthy magazines and to get inspired by your peers.
FlipMarketer also includes:
- Social media: We’ll post on LinkedIN, FlipMarketer on Twitter and use the #FlipMarketer hashtag for discussions. We want to have real conversations with marketers and be a place for them to connect with each other.
- A (revised) blog: our advertising or Brands Blog has been renamed Business Blog (h/t to the Flipboard Club) to encompass the wide range of ways Flipboard can be used for business. For now, though, the focus is on marketers—interviews, noteworthy magazines, how-to guides, new product announcements and more.
- An email newsletter: Sign up for our monthly newsletter for a roundup of how marketers are using Flipboard.
