“My Favorites” takes a peek at a Flipboard user’s tiles to see what they’re reading. For this edition, we caught up with Bailey Richardson, Assistant Gallery Director at Ugallery.com, a virtual art gallery that looks to connect promising artists with people looking to buy reasonably priced, original artwork. “Part of my job description is manning our social media content, so I’m one of the lucky people that gets to spend work hours reading. I’ve tirelessly curated my Twitter and Google Reader feeds so they’re always chockfull of content from my favorite art and decorating pubs. Thanks to Flipboard, these posts are now a pleasure, not a burden, to sift through. Along with Facebook (my daily dose of hedonism), those two tiles are my most viewed. Another frequently flipped section is Flipboard’s Art tile. It makes my life easy — bringing together all of the art world’s thought leaders into one feed. NPR and The New Yorker are for Sunday mornings when I’m ready for a challenging, inspiring read with my coffee. Flipboard’s curated sections Flipboard Picks, Music and San Francisco are for stolen moments on my commute when I’m looking for a bit of creativity and lightheartedness to warm the day.” Tap here to add Ugallery to your Favorites. You can Favorite as many sections as you like; the first 21 items will appear as visual tiles. If you’d like to be featured in “My Favorites,” please email featured@flipboard.com and we’ll send you some short instructions. You can also read our previous post with Alice Yoo of My Modern Met.
