Flipboard’s podcast about the role of human taste in a tech-driven world returns today with a new slate of interviews with curators and culture watchers. The roster includes in-house curators at Substack and Blinkist, community curators on TikTok and Mastodon, and two museum guards who participated in the Baltimore Museum of Art’s “Guarding the Art” show

In addition, The New Yorker’s Kyle Chayka discusses his forthcoming book, “Filterworld: How Algorithms Flatten Culture,” and Hrishikesh Hirway goes behind the scenes on his “Exploderpodcasts. The first episode of season 4 features FlakPhoto’s Andy Adams, a photography curator in love with visual culture. (Andy is also Flipboard’s Photography Curator in Residence this summer.)

New episodes drop every Tuesday from now until September, and each show is embedded in a companion Storyboard that also contains everything the curator recommends or talks about in the interview. Chats end with a “speed round” where the guest tells me what they’re reading, watching and listening to. Discover every episode and your media diet will never be the same again.

If you’re new to the show and want to catch up on some of its greatest hits, these episodes are the most streamed:
