Today’s Flipboard for Web update makes editing your magazines’ captions, images and covers a little easier. Here’s what’s new: 1) Edit commentary and text updates: Click “Edit” on any of your magazines, then click on an item to add or edit any commentary you’ve written to accompany the article. This is also how you can edit text updates added using the new compose feature launched on Flipboard for iPhone earlier this week. 2) Pick images after mobile flips: Those of you who curate from a mobile device might like this one. For now, only people flipping content from the Web have been able to choose which image they want to display with an article on Flipboard. Now you can flip an item from a mobile device and change its display image via the new image selector on the Web. 3) New cover image picker: You want to ensure that your magazine has a great cover, something that will really attract readers. Now, when you edit your magazine on the Web, you’ll see a new cover image picker in the top left. Not only will it help you scan through your image options more quickly, but also it will show the resolution/sizes of those images so you can pick the best one. A general rule is that the bigger the image, the better it will look as the cover of your magazine—at least 1,000 pixels is recommended but smaller can be OK, especially on phones. ~TroyB is curating Eye Candy FOLLOW US ON: FLIPBOARD / TWITTER / INSTAGRAM / FACEBOOK / GOOGLE+ / TUMBLR / YOUTUBE / SOUNDCLOUD / PINTEREST / MEDIUM
