As part of a wider effort to help creators succeed on Flipboard and off, we’re launching a new program that reserves a portion of our ad inventory within newsletters and in-app for creators.  

Media empires come in all shapes and sizes these days, and many creators have multiple lines of business. For example, someone with a Substack newsletter may also be teaching a course on Maven, a YouTuber may also have a product line, and a blogger may have a book coming out. 

We want to support creators in all these endeavors. The Promoted Story Program invites eligible participants to promote an article or item of their choosing within a relevant vertical on Flipboard, for free. This could include articles with affiliate or commerce links, a call to subscribe to a newsletter, a promotion for a new book on the market, or sign-ups for a course. 

Ads will run in the vertical that’s most relevant to the creator’s business, for a length of time specified by the Flipboard team and/or our advertising algorithm. We give no guarantees of impressions or conversions, but we anticipate getting your message in front of a highly relevant, engaged audience.
