Being a member of the Flipboard Creator Collective comes with many perks. 

Not only do select creators instantly get to share their content and expertise with millions of highly engaged people, they also have the opportunity to earn money with our Promoted Story Referral Program. This program offers creators a great way to amplify the reach for any brand deals they have and bring Flipboard into their sponsorship portfolio.  

How it works

Members of the Creator Collective can earn money when they refer brands to Flipboard to amplify original branded content. Brands working with members of the Creator Collective receive exclusive discounts, white-glove service, and access to Flipboard’s native ad formats.

Creators can keep 50% of the revenue share of brand spend up to $20K. After a creator earns $10K with a single advertiser, they can earn an additional 15% revenue share of advertiser spend. Creators can earn more than $10K by successfully referring multiple advertisers. 

Flipboard offers a variety of custom ad units in our mobile app and newsletters, which all qualify for this program. By working with a Flipboard creator, brands get 25% off our ad rates.

Why are we doing this?

We are passionate about stories that inform and inspire, and want to support the people who create them. There are a lot of helpful tools that support aspiring and longtime creators with things like launching newsletters, growing audiences, and quickly creating new video content.
