Imagine a positive, visually appealing destination on the Internet where people who love photography can get together to share stories about their craft, offer inspiration and support each other. It exists, and it’s called The Photography Exchange.

This Flipboard Group Magazine marks the first time we’ve invited many of our best photography curators to share stories together in one space. Ranging from pro to enthusiast, the photographers here flip in what moves them daily, often adding a caption or comment for context.

Anyone can follow it and add it to their Flipboard, but you must be invited to be able to contribute to the Magazine. (Write to photography@flipboard.com to be considered for an invite.) Followers and contributors get a steady stream of hand-selected stories from high-quality publishers and the creators themselves.

In addition, the Photography Exchange is a great way to familiarize yourself with who’s active in Flipboard’s photography community. There are photojournalists, photo editors and instructors, YouTubers and podcasters, Leica lovers and Fuji fanatics here, not to mention people from all walks of life who are united by one thing: their passion for photography.

Think of the Exchange as a kind of directory and follow any individual you connect with. This can be quite fruitful because many people on Flipboard have myriad interests. In other words, if you like someone’s photography flips, you might like their tech and food Magazines as well. Following the person is a way to get all of that goodness in your For You feed.

So check out and follow The Photography Exchange and/or write to photography@flipboard.com for an invite.

P.S. There are also Exchanges for home cooks, world travelers and the climate-concerned. And if you want to start your own group on Flipboard, it’s easy! This post will tell you all you need to know.
