Hey, travelers! We know you love to connect with new people and places. That’s why we’re excited to tell you about a fantastic new destination: The Travel Exchange. This vibrant space offers a friendly, visually appealing way for people who love to travel to share trip ideas, city guides, itineraries, airline news, and much more.

This Flipboard Group Magazine marks the first time we’ve invited many of our best travel curators and creators to share stories together in one place. The people here read — a lot! — and curate what moves them daily, often adding a caption or comment for context.

Anyone can follow The Travel Exchange and add it to their Flipboard to see the stories that are being shared there, but you must be invited to be able to contribute to the Magazine. (Write to travel@flipboard.com to be considered for an invite.) Followers and contributors get a steady stream of hand-selected stories from high-quality publishers and the creators themselves.

In addition, The Travel Exchange is a great way to familiarize yourself with who’s active in Flipboard’s travel community. There are writers and bloggers, regional specialists, Instagrammers and thrillseekers, not to mention people from all walks of life who are united by their passion for travel.

Think of the Exchange as a kind of who’s who of travel curators on Flipboard and follow any individual you connect with to discover even more of their curation. This can be quite fruitful because many people on Flipboard have myriad interests. In other words, if you like someone’s travel flips, you might like their photography and food Magazines as well. Following the person is a way to get all of that goodness in your For You feed.

So check out and follow The Travel Exchange and/or write to travel@flipboard.com for an invite.

P.S. There are also Exchanges for home cooks, photographers and the climate-concerned. And if you want to start your own group on Flipboard, it’s easy! This post will tell you all you need to know.
